Wall Tie corrosion is a problem particularly in older brick properties with cavity walls. Condensing moisture in buildings, always migrates to cold surfaces and since the Wall Tie's are steel, moisture gathers on them. Over time they corrode until eventually they fail completely rendering the wall structurally unstable.
