Our combination of bold and subtle natural tones have been imagined blending seamlessly with each other, leaving you free to create a harmonious look in either traditional spaces, or in open plan living, where colour can provide effective separation or delineation within an overall design.

As a small manufacturer we may not have a team of sophisticated designers to formulate "on trend" colour palettes but we are blessed to be in one of the most inspiring landscapes to be found anywhere. So, the colours were all there for us in four seasons and varying weather conditions, all we had to do was look almost naively at the geology, water, sky, plants and animals to capture them. Perhaps it is not surprising therefore that these colours will blend and contrast as naturally in your home as they do amongst the serene mountains and valleys they came from.

Our “Lakes and Fells Collection” colours are made to order (Excepting White & Magnolia) so ordering a tester pot is highly recommended to check your colour preference accurately, before making your final choice. Standard 3-day service: £6.25 plus VAT (Note: Highlands Postcodes may be up to 5 working days)
Next Working Day*: £13.95 plus VAT (Not available to Highlands Postcodes)

Good quality paint
Okay, so I didn't actually buy this paint, it was the client's choice. I hadn't used Kingfisher emulsion before (think they are more known for masonry paint??) but I am pleasantly surprised by how it flows, the coverage and depth of colour. Website seems to show a good range of colours.

Delivery was free and arrived on time. I liked the idea of the Lakeland colours working together so I blended snowdrop for the ceiling with wild sage on the walls, which has turned out beautifully. It is slightly thicker than most emulsions I've used previously which made it satisfying to apply, especially on tricky edges around the window frames. Will definitely use again.

Willow bud is perfect
Absolutely love this colour! We ordered a range of testers to try and did not necessarily expect "Willow Bud" to be the frontrunner but it is a subtle, sophisticated green which complements this bright, south facing room perfectly. Decorator is impressed with the coverage too!
