K-Seal Max-Strength Patio Cleaner is a professional patio cleaner. It is designed to remove ingrained dirt and stubborn stains from a wide variety of paving surfaces including:

This product is a strong, industrial patio and pavement cleaner. It is effective at cleaning and removing dirt and grime as well as moss algae. It can be used on natural stone, concrete and brickwork so it is perfect for cleaning down patios. This block paving cleaner can be used on light and dark coloured materials without affecting its colour.

How to use our Professional Patio Cleaner
For general cleaning, dilute K-Seal Cleaner to 3:1 with clean water, then liberally apply to the surface. Allow to "stand" for 10 minutes, sometimes scrubbing with a deck scrubbing brush or stiff bristle broom. Agitate the surface thoroughly with the brush and then rinse gently with a low-pressure garden hose (not pressure washer).
Note: When applying the product, only decant into a plastic bucket. Also, when diluting always put the water in first and then add our strong patio cleaner. For stubborn contaminants apply "neat" to the affected area and repeat the "agitate/rinse" process.
Important: K-Seal Block Paving Cleaner is an aggressive cleaning agent. It is imperative that the product is tested for surface compatibility on a small discreet area prior to full application.
Keep pets and children away until the surface has been rinsed. Always wear protective gloves, goggles and footwear when working with the product. We recommend that the cleaned surface is subsequently treated with a protective sealer such as K-Seal Total or Imprintseal.

What is the best type of patio cleaner for removing black spots and algae?
For green growth and black lichen, a concentrated, fast-acting formulation such as Max-Strength Patio Cleaner provides effective removal. Deeply embedded staining may benefit from combined treatment and pressure washing.
Do I need a pressure washer?
Not necessarily. The product is designed to work effectively with manual agitation and hose rinsing. However, heavily contaminated surfaces may respond more quickly when combined with appropriate pressure washing equipment.

Kingfisher “Max-Strength Patio Cleaner” is a professional high strength, hydrochloric acid-based surface cleaner with a powerful surfactant, formulated specifically for unsightly cleaning discolouration, ingrained dirt, cement, mortar splashes and other difficult to remove stains from a variety of external paved and mineral-based surfaces.

Surface Preparation
- Firstly: remove all vehicles from the vicinity and sweep up any excess dirt, mortar, weeds etc with a stiff yard brush.
- Carefully protect any metal surfaces and paint work with polythene sheets and tape.
- Remove plant pots and cover any vulnerable foliage.
Application
a. For general cleaning: dilute Kingfisher Max-Strength Patio Cleaner by 2 or 3:1 with clean water in a suitable plastic bucket. Add the Max-Strength Patio Cleaner slowly to the water to avoid splashing.
b. Apply liberally to the surface by plastic watering can or deck brush / yard broom and allow to stand for around 10 to 15 minutes (scrubbing occasionally with a stiff bristled yard brush) – do not allow the area to dry out.
c. Agitate thoroughly with the brush then hose gently with large amounts of cold water. For stubborn contaminants Kingfisher Max-Strength Patio Cleaner can be applied “neat” to the affected area. Repeat agitation / rinsing process as required.
d. Black mould staining is an increasing problem, and this aggressive black spot fungus thoroughly embeds itself in the substrate and is both unsightly and almost impossible to remove. Feedback from contractors reveals that neither Kingfisher Max-Strength Patio Cleaner alone nor pressure washing alone will remove the most stubborn stains. However, using both methods in combination achieves excellent results in most cases: Apply Max-Strength Patio Cleaner neat to the affected areas and allow to activate partially evaporate. Then, instead of rinsing with a hose, clean with a rotary jet pressure washer at 2500 to 3000 psi.
Important
Dilute only in a plastic bucket or container. ALWAYS add the product to water, NEVER the water to the product. Before applying to the whole area, always test on an inconspicuous part of the area first.
Packaging and Storage
Supplied in a 5 Litre plastic bottle for convenient handling and supply. Store in original container in cool, dry conditions. Protect from frost and direct sunlight.
Shelf Life
This product will lose its strength over time. It is preferable to use the product at the point of purchase or within 6 weeks of this date. The maximum shelf life is 12 months.

- IF SWALLOWED: rinse mouth and do NOT induce vomiting
- IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present, and easy to do. Continue rinsing
