Kingfisher Aqueous DPC is a concentrated, water based, chemical damp proofing fluid which is injected into the building via 10 to 14 mm diameter drilled holes. The concentrate is diluted one part Aqueous DPC injection fluid with four parts water for end-use and forms a silicone resin barrier to rising damp. Apply in accordance with BS6575.

Kingfisher Injection Mortar compliments Kingfisher Tankit by installing a pore blocking vertical DPC into abutting walls which are in contact with tanked walls. This damp proofing isolates the water pressure within the tanked structure. Full depth holes are drilled downwards at roughly a 30 degree angle to the horizontal at 110 mm centres. The Injection Mortar (mixed to a cream consistency) is then injected with a simple mortar cartridge gun. The active ingredients diffuse through any water present in the capillaries or mortar joints and react with the free lime to form a damp proof barrier.

This amazing product is a little known trade secret which can be applied to concrete, brick , renders & more. To protect against dampness/ water ingress by formimg a Damp Proof Membrane. Damp Gard is also ideal as a vapour barrier under plaster or render, for balcony repairs or as a concrete surface coating.

Neutral formulation means it can be used as Damp Proofing Membrane for fish ponds and portable water storage. Damp Gard can be used in storage cellars where it is highly effective at keeping out seeping water. Providing a bright fresh decorative finish which can be over painted if required.
