Kingfisher Injection Mortar compliments Kingfisher Tankit by installing a pore blocking vertical DPC into abutting walls which are in contact with tanked walls. This damp proofing isolates the water pressure within the tanked structure. Full depth holes are drilled downwards at roughly a 30 degree angle to the horizontal at 110 mm centres. The Injection Mortar (mixed to a cream consistency) is then injected with a simple mortar cartridge gun. The active ingredients diffuse through any water present in the capillaries or mortar joints and react with the free lime to form a damp proof barrier.
